The DuBose Law Firm, LLC (“TDLF”) is a boutique law firm that specifically caters to healthcare professionals and health services organizations. We assist health care providers with employment contract reviews and negotiations and we represent health care providers before their licensure boards in matters such as Medicaid audit proceedings, payor disputes, and in civil actions such as noncompete disputes.  We also provide general compliance program and HIPAA/Privacy compliance program consulting services through our subsidiary, TDLF Healthcare Compliance Consulting Group, LLC.

Since 2014, TDLF’s Principal, Shakeba DuBose has served as an independent administrative law hearing officer (sometimes referred to as “hearing examiner”) for various state and local agencies wherein she presides over administrative hearings involving an array of licensure and certification issues. Since 2016, Ms. DuBose has also been listed as an American Health Law Association Dispute Resolution Services’ arbitrator.  Over the years, Ms DuBose has handled over 200 matters (and counting).  Combining these two service lines, TDLF Dispute Resolution Services now provides alternative dispute resolution services for parties looking for out-of-court solutions to their conflicts.
